    Bonjour! Welcome to École Greenfield School! We are excited to be able to work with you and your young leaders on their journey of learning. The Greenfield School Faculty is committed to ensuring that our students’ school experience is engaging and successful for all.

     

    2025-2026 SCHOOL REGISTRATION

    NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

    If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. 

    If you have questions about registering, contact the school office. 

    CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

    You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you'd like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre -enrolment, which opens at 8:00 a.m. on February 3. 

    The deadline for all families to choose their school for the 2025-2026 school year is 4:00 p.m. on March 19, 2025.

     

    Kindergarten / New Student Open House: 2025-2026

    Greenfield will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, February 6th @ 6:00pm- - 7:00pm. 

    You are invited to come tour the school, meet some teachers and our Admin team as well as ask questions about our various programs.

    We will have a team from transportation set up to answer all Yellow bus questions, as well as some information regarding out of school care options. 

     

    2024-2025 School Registration

    For the 2024-2025 school year, Greenfield School is full in planned classes in Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Regular program and Kindergarten and Grade 1 in the French immersion program. We will no longer be accepting students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 French immersion program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students in Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school's attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

    Steps to Register for Students New to Edmonton Public Schools

    Step 1- Complete the digital student registration form

    Step 2- Provide legal proof of the student's name, citizenship and birthdate (see below for examples)

    Step 3- Provide 2 pieces of address verification for the student's parent/legal guardian (see below for examples)

    Step 4- A member from our administrative team will get in touch with you via email to confirm your registration

       

    *Examples of Legal Proof of a Student's Name

    • Canadian provincial birth certificate
    • Canadian citizenship document
    • Canadian passport
    • Confirmation of a permanent residence document

        *Confirmation of address

    • Valid driver's license or vehicle registration (must be current living address)
    • Lease agreement, rental agreement or purchase agreement
    • Utility bill, property tax bill or telephone bill
    • Banking, financial or insurance documents

    Registration Information

    • If the number of students who want to attend a program exceeds the available space, applicants from outside the school’s designated attendance area will be chosen by random selection.
    • Specific information pertaining to the registration process can be found on the Edmonton Public School’s website.
    • Online registrations can be completed on your smartphone or other electronic devicesSubmitting a registration package after the deadline of March 22, 2024 may limit your options to schools with available spaceLearn more about registration dates and deadlinesAll documents must be uploaded in order to submit the form.     Transportation

    Busing is available for students in the French Immersion program from anywhere within our transportation service area (TSA). Please contact the school office for more information about yellow bus transportation. For More information or for bus applications please visit:  https://www.epsb.ca/schools/gettoschool/transportation/yellowbus/

    BUS FAMILIES:  Please telephone or email the school office at 780-434-8581, or greenfield@epsb.ca, when your child will not be taking the bus home from school.

    If the child is currently attending another Edmonton Public School, please submit the busing application to that school via your School Zone parent account.

    Please note that if you have already submitted an application to our office or completed your application on SchoolZone; there is no need to resubmit this one.

Bienvenue / Welcome to École Greenfield School!

The École Greenfield School Learning Community works in partnership to support and nurture growth and success for every student.  École Greenfield School is dedicated to excellence in academics, language use in English and French, fine arts, physical education and citizenship. We recognize the individuality of each student and work to foster growth of the “whole child.” A variety of instructional approaches and strategies are used to provide rich and engaging learning experiences.  We take great pride in our English and French Immersion Programs. School Supplies for the 2024-25 School Year

Parents have the option to order school supplies from the link below, and have them directly shipped to your home for convenience. 

If you choose not to order online you may use the supply lists in the link to shop at your own leisure. If you have items from previous years that you would like to utilize for the next year you may do so and choose to purchase only what you need.

*** Kindergarten supplies for 2024-2025 will be distributed during the school year and parents will be charged a fee. Please have your kinder student supplied with a pair of non marking indoor shoes, a water bottle and a backpack.
