2026/2027 NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
If you are registering for kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
New student registration and our pre enrolment period begins on Monday, February 2, 2026 @ 8:00am and will close on Wednesday, March 25 at 4:00pm. Our open house will be Thursday, February 5th, 2026 @ 6:00pm-7:00pm. We will begin with an information session in the gym and then there will be time to tour the school and ask questions.
Students who register with Edmonton Public Schools requires that at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Open House: Thursday, February 5th, 2026
Greenfield will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, February 5th, 2026 @ 6:00pm-7:00pm.
Official presentation begins at 6:00pm in the gym.
You are invited to come tour the school, ask questions and meet some members from of our Greenfield team.
We will have representatives from transportation set up to answer all Yellow bus questions, as well as some information regarding out of school care options.
CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL
You will need to pre-enrol on Schoolzone to tell us the school you'd like your child to attend next year (2026/2027). Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre enrolment, which opens at 8:00am on February 2, 2026 and closes at 4:00pm on March 25, 2026.
Steps to Register for Students New to Edmonton Public Schools
Step 1- Complete the digital student registration form
Step 2- Provide legal proof of the student's name, citizenship and birthdate (see below for examples)
Step 3- Provide 2 pieces of address verification for the student's parent/legal guardian (see below for examples)
Step 4- A member from our administrative team will get in touch with you via email to confirm your registration
*Examples of Legal Proof of a Student's Name
- Canadian provincial birth certificate
- Canadian citizenship document
- Canadian passport
- Confirmation of a permanent residence document
*Confirmation of address
- Valid driver's license or vehicle registration (must be current living address)

- If the number of students who want to attend a program exceeds the available space, applicants from outside the school’s designated attendance area will be chosen by random selection.
- Specific information pertaining to the registration process can be found on the Edmonton Public School’s website.
- Online registrations can be completed on your smartphone or other electronic devices. Submitting a registration package after the deadline of March 19, 2025 may limit your options to schools with available space. Learn more about registration dates and deadlines. All documents must be uploaded in order to submit the form. Please ensure that you are providing clear photos and the entire page is visible for each document submitted.

We're happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre enrolled before March 19, 2025, have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the Fall!
UPDATE **** For the 2025-2026 school year, Greenfield is full in planned classes in Kindergarten & Grades 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6 in the French Immersion program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for these grade levels in this program.
We are also full in planned classes for our Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 in the Regular English class and will now only accept resident students in Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school's attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
