2018 Cardboard Challenge
The Cardboard Challenge is an annual event started in 2012, inspired by the response to the Caine's Arcade film. Kids from around the world are invited to build something awesome using cardboard, recycled material, and imagination, and then invite the world to play. This year, students are challenged to imagine and build a City of the Future. Here's a video explaining the challenge.
Make your Mark on Poverty Project
Our Grade 2 and Grade 4 FIM students have been participating in City Hall School this year and applied to receive funding for supplies from Dentons Make Your Mark on Poverty, a United Way initiative that provides schools with an opportunity to access grants and take action against poverty in their city.
