Parent Groups
All parents are very welcome at the school anytime and are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. Every parent or legal guardian is automatically a member of the Greenfield School Council and GFAS. We encourage all parents to attend the monthly meetings. We need your leadership, support and opinions. Hope to see you there!
Greenfield School Council (GSC)
The GSC is a group of parents, teachers, the school principal and community members, whose purpose is to advise the school principal and the board respecting matters relating to the school and district. It is a means for parents and community members to work together with the school to support and enhance student learning and the effectiveness of the school. This group offers support to both the English and French Immersion programs. An elected executive (chairperson, secretary, key communicator and treasurer) is formed in the spring to facilitate the operation of this group. Greenfield Fundraising & Allocations Society (GFAS)
GFAS organizes, manages and conducts fundraising activities, the proceeds of which will be used for the promotion of the goals and objectives of GFAS. GFAS will work as a team with staff, parents, students and the community to provide advice and to facilitate the educational, social, emotional and recreational development of our children in a spirit of harmony. An elected executive (chairperson, past chair, secretary and treasurer) is formed in the spring to facilitate the operation of this group. For more information, please email greenfieldfas@gmail.com.
